It’s been a while since I last posted, but today I want to share an update about what I've been working on lately.

My plan is to shift and build creative campaigns around important environmental issues. Each campaign will focus on one cause at a time, help people understand the issue, learn what’s at stake, and see what action is possible.

These campaigns will be different from standard posts or general updates because they are designed to do more than inform. They are meant to educate, inspire, and help mobilize support toward the nonprofits, projects, and solutions already doing the work on the ground.

My hope is that these campaigns will help:

• Raise awareness around urgent environmental issues.
• Help people understand how those issues affect animals, species, and ecosystems.
• Support the nonprofits working to protect nature and advance practical solutions.
• Connect people with meaningful ways to learn, participate, donate, volunteer, and take action.
• Give communities useful resources to help create change where they live.
• Give businesses and organizations opportunities to contribute in ways that create real environmental and social good.
• Help the causes, nonprofits, and conservation projects doing this work grow their reach and strengthen their missions and impact!

At the heart of all of this is the same goal - to help nature thrive. That means helping animals, protecting ecosystems, supporting conservation organizations, and bringing greater attention to the people working every day to create a healthier planet.

Here’s a sneak peek at the first campaign:

Chemical-Free Communities: From Sprayed Parks to Safe Living Landscapes

This campaign will focus on helping communities, cities, schools, and homeowners transition away from toxic weed killers and herbicides and toward safer, healthier ways to care for parks, public spaces, yards, and shared landscapes.

It will examine the effects of routine herbicide use on animals, pollinators, soil, waterways, children, pets, and ecosystems. It will also highlight safer alternatives, communities that are already making changes, and the nonprofits working to help create chemical-free parks and healthier landscapes.
